Somewhere between wandering and arriving, these stories try to name the feeling of being here, now. They carry traces of many places and people, but they’re less about origin and more about what we share: the wish to belong, to feel, to find wonder in what’s already in front of us.

Raised in a quiet part of the Netherlands, I emigrated to the US over a decade ago, now living in San Francisco. These stories are part of how I try to belong—to places, people, and passing moments.
